At 10:00 the anchor clock went on with target Grenada. But this time, not along in the capital of St. George on the east coast but with target Saint David's Harbour. Lt. Guide, this should be a small but fine bay without the usual in most bays number of charter boats. The trip was wonderful. Suitable Wind (4-5 Bft.), Crew and ship well. And then the coronation. ... Finally a fish!! Unfortunately, of course, the camera batteries were empty so there is no photo for you. As we found out it was but a Grossaugenmakrele. Just the right size for us. After we had taken on board, came back, of course, the Weicheierdiskussion. Hey ... you make them dead. ... I do not nee ... come on .... Nee ... I can not control so I am. Grrr ... so I had to ran
Kill? Can not I! I've then taken a knife and cut the poor animal's throat. That after the deck looks like after a massacre, I also sometimes someone might have said. Once in the bay Heike the fish then - because too big for the pan - neatly filleted. Lecker the guy! The bay is actually the way, very picturesque. Besides us, only two other boats, and all around everything bright green to the water.

Before it finally goes to the Tobago Cays first mess is called for. By Heike and Michael, we received many mails with wishes and parts orders. A tiller of inflation over the clamp, to gummy bears handed the list. Should we even use if one gets a visit from home. (I hope with 4 kg of Haribo, the two, primarily around Michael, a little!). Suddenly a five-Master in the bay entrance. The fast speculation and binoculars: Is that the Royal Clipper from "dream under sail" of the ZDF? Goal! Majestic she slides into the bay and we enjoyed the evening with their lighting. Now it is the first stocks to be replenished the next day. This gets ride of the phrase "shopping" at least a new meaning for us: With the dinghy up in front of the supermarket!! As already filled the stocks a large cart and we still have to fit in a threesome in the dinghy, so we take two trips. In the afternoon a trip to St. George's is on the program. Everywhere Rastas nice, loud music and honking cars. But no one is annoyed! They all laugh and are friendly and courteous. Simply fantastic. Unfortunately, Hurricane Ivan two years ago has clearly left its mark. The construction progress is slow and many houses are in ruins, some against it once again prepared very nice. Above all, of course, to the page where you create the huge cruise ships. Then tomorrow it means finally "anchor" and going on to Carriacou! Greetings from the Lauan, Claudia

Gruss Michael
Every morning at seven out Clock: minus 10 degrees .... but only 21 hours later, we sit with Heike and Michael on the lauan ... visiting from Germany is angerueckt! We, Claudia and Lars have with Heike the SBF made lake and the two already held in Makkum from work. Now we sit again on the Lauan, floats the time and is not jacked up on land. But, as we imagine the Karbik? In the books, all images are the same: sun, sand and blue sea. Well, here it is not only very dark but it is RAINING! Unbelievable but true ... but after 21 hours on the road we are just dead tired ... still in the bunks. Greetings from the heat, Claudia

Before we do with our visit, an extensive tour, we've done it before an initial check. Actually we wanted to get up early to be at the fish market was at 6.00 ... .. but of course again :-) 10:00. Fortunately, there was still fish and saved our dinner (None. I have nothing caught). Then on the short tour. So much in advance. ... You should have read that St. George is one of the most beautiful cities in the Caribbean, that was it! Schoen is on its way, of course, still, but unfortunately, Hurricane Ivan last year pretty much devastated. Information for this include http://www.worldtrip.de/Karibik/Grenada/Ivan/grenada-ivan.html. At the moment, is being built on every corner and renovated. When we come back later to the ship, is in our neighbors already quite a mood. Another ship which has lain before us drifting, abandoned by the lagoon and has docked comfortable with our neighbors. Somehow seems not to hold the anchor well. A third boat which lies behind the two gets panic, of course, that the two also take up more contact with him. I went along with the skipper of the third boat (our neighbor is French and speaks no English, of course) into the dinghy and we have then thrown to the drifting yacht a new, second anchor. Then we were able to disentangle the two ships and park the new drifters. Amazingly, put the key
After we had thrown his anchor new and I just stood at the front of the anchor line of the second Anchor came to get closer angebraust the two skippers already. From a distance, angry look and then wonder what I would have to probably search for on deck. Well ... he got the situation will get it pretty quickly
Amazingly, he has still not even his to - we laid - Anchor controlled but is equal to the neighbor to check the damage. And I always thought HR42 owners were so meticulously
:-) Anyway ... now he expired without at least thanking times. Hmmm .... Ne can of beer he had been able to pay for

That was again a crossing (almost) to our taste. Get out of the bay, sailing high, adjust the wind vane and off we went. Unfortunately, we could - there wind almost north - do not set a direct course to the island of Grenada, and had this morning in 15 knots abeam. In practice ... .. the wind is just back to the northeast, so now counterclaims engines :-). Power so nothing! At 10.00 then made landfall on Grenada. We drive directly into the lagoon from the capital of St. George. There we are first greeted with a downpour sent. Finding a free place turns out to still be quite tricky. Here is cozy cuddling announced, so the distance between the ships each, depending on wind direction about 10 m
Then it went over extremely friendly offices to Einklarieren. "Ah ... ur coming from Trinidad. Did you like the carnival? In next year u have to come to Grenada. Big party too! "Ok. Do we.
